About
Nestled in the heart of British Columbia’s Squamish Valley, the newly built Leon Lebeniste Fine Furnishings & Architectural Woodworking facility sets a new standard for sustainable industrial design. Spanning 2,700 square meters, this purpose-built space—designed by Hemsworth Architecture and constructed by Kindred Construction—blends craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation in a way rarely seen in industrial buildings.
Surrounded by Squamish’s breathtaking natural landscape, the three-storey facility honors the region’s rich tradition of fine woodworking and manufacturing. Employees and visitors can step out from the office onto a stunning green roof amenity space, designed by Considered Design, where they can take in panoramic mountain views.
Sustainability is at the core of this project. With support from Tourism Squamish, the facility features an advanced water filtration system that removes contaminants before they enter nearby waterways—helping to preserve the health of the Squamish River and its aquatic life.
This landmark facility is more than a workspace; it’s a testament to the harmony between industry, nature, and sustainable innovation.
